Road trip!!

This week my family went on vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It's been very exciting and there is so much to tell. I'm going to attempt to split this trip up into multiple posts for easier access! 

Lets get started!! 

First things first... 

How long of a drive are we looking at here? 

We're talking 1,700 miles. 

Oh goodness... 

A 2 day drive in a car with my parents, me, and my friend Morgan Lashley. 

Should be great fun!

Morgan and I were really excited for the first couple hours on the road... And we tracked the excitement!

My excitement started dwindling around here. 

And then we got tired and fell asleep. 

Oh well... It was fun while it lasted.

We stopped to use the restroom and found this sign. 

Do you know how difficult it is for me to resist pushing a button? 

A big. Red. Button. 

Deep breaths M. 

 

You don't need to press the button. 

You want to press the button. 

Control yourself. 

Walk out of the bathroom. 

Don't. Look. Back. 

You can do this. 

I didn't press it. 

Once you're involved with Rotary... You see the signs everywhere! 

The drive was pretty boring and ultimately uneventful... I'm trying my best to entertain you here. 

This was taken in West Virginia... After being on the road for 9+ hours on day 2!
